OFFICE BULDING ON KAREA STREET IN METS, ATHENS

The three-storey office building with retail stores on the ground floor is situated near the Pillars of the Temple of the Olympian Zeus and the new Acropolis Museum. The ruins of classical and roman housing, discovered during excavations, were carefully relocated by the archaeological department, in order to be visible by the passersby through a glass construction. An emphatic louvre construction offers sun protection to the offices, and an individual character to the building, highlighting the main entrance.
