It is a medium size temple, with narthex and cruciform plan, where the nave, chancel and transept arms are of equal length (Greek cross). The crossing is surmounted by a dome, carried by marble pillars. The rest is covered by semicylindrical domes and crossvaults. The floor is covered with local slate. Aim of the project was the restoration of damages of the building, the structural reinforcement and the improvement of the reliability of the original architectural synthesis.
