This project aims to showcase the archaeological area of the Early Christian basilica in Amfissa (Fokida), by introducing a protective canopy. The proposed canopy was designed with the intention to promote the archaeological area and protect the remains of the mosaic floor from weather conditions. The main principles for the design of the canopy were the protection of the monument and integration of the proposed structure in its environment. Subsequently, the morphology of the canopy is composed by simple geometric elements, in conformity with the ancient monument.
